Overview

This program gives participants a solid method for writing effective prompts with generative AI assistants. They understand how a language model works, structure their requests, master proven techniques (role, examples, step-by-step reasoning, output format) and learn to check and improve responses. The course is highly practical: each concept is immediately applied to real professional situations, and each participant leaves with their own prompt library.

Who this program is for

  • Employees, managers and freelancers who use or want to use generative AI every day
  • Marketing, communication, HR, legal, finance or support teams
  • Training centers and schools wishing to introduce their learners to AI

Prerequisites

  • No technical prerequisites
  • Comfortable with a web browser and writing professional texts
  • A free account on at least one AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…)

Learning objectives

  • Explain in simple terms how a language model works and its limits
  • Structure a clear prompt: context, task, constraints, format
  • Apply the essential prompting techniques
  • Adapt your prompts to common professional tasks
  • Spot errors, hallucinations and biases, and verify answers
  • Build a library of reusable prompts for your team

Day 1
Understanding language models2 h🛠 1 workshop
50% theory · 50% practice
  • How a language model generates an answer (tokens, context, probabilities)
  • What AI can and cannot do
  • The main assistants and how they differ
  • Hallucinations, biases and knowledge cutoffs
🛠 Hands-on workshops
Test the limits of an assistant1 h

Each participant submits trick questions and analyzes the answers received.
